Building neighbourhood with season’s greetings

Sustainable Communities aims to build neighbourhood and cooperation as one way of achieving resilience for our future. Christmas is a good time to make a step in that direction. On Monday we gathered 16 neighbours for a pleasant evening together with people ranging in age from 87 to 3 years. Afterward our 87 year old neighbour said to me ‘When I need to move from my house, it will be this community of neighbours and these get togethers that I will miss the most’.  Enjoy and build your neighbourhood now and in the coming year.
