Dealing with e-waste

We tend to think of e-waste or electronic waste as TVs and computers. It is much more than that and we can deal with it better.

Everything that has a cord or battery is electronic material. Think of it as electronic material rather than e-waste as almost all of it can be recycled or refurbished.

With the help of Zero Waste, KESAB, E-Cycle Recovery and our councils we can dispose of everything that has a cord or battery. E-Cycle Recovery is taking material at their depot at a subsidised rate to dismantle all that equipment that you no longer want to use and recover 97% of the component parts.

This is especially important for two major reasons: to prevent it going to landfill and to recover the precious metals that are fast running out.
