One Planet Market – this Saturday 19 March

Our first market was a great success. The next one will be even better with more space for produce for sale, swap and share and growers stalls. People living in the area who benefit from the early market gardens in the area are phoning up about the fuit and vegetables that they have available.

How to use a Bokashi Bin for your food waste to benefit your garden is the subject of a workshop being offered at 9.30am and again at 11am if there is enough interest.

So come and enjoy our morning tea centre for a chat with friends, find some local garden produce to buy or bring some of your own to sell or swap and share.

We are encouraging local produce and a truly local economy while building our community relationships and taking steps towards a One Planet Lifestyle. How many planets does your lifestyle require? Try calculating it on www.footprintnetwork.com and then ask us at Sustainable Communities how to live more sustainably.  See you at the Payneham Community Centre, corner Arthur Street and Payneham Road between 9am and 12 noon on Saturday 19 March.
