Sustainable Communities AGM

The 3rd Annual General Meeting of Sustainable Communities SA was held on Thursday 26 May 2011 at the Payneham Community Centre.

Convenor, Debbie Saegenschnitter, gave the Annual Report 2011 that included many achievements over the past year. Our membership has grown, we have many new Community Groups around Adelaide and in regional areas and we have received several grants to assist in projects and to support our volunteers.

The contribution of Ray and Beth Mylius towards the development of our organisation was acknowleged at the meeting. Beth was also recognised for her community work earlier this year when she received Citizen of the Year Award from Norwood Payneham St Peters Council.

The committee was re-elected. We are keen to welcome new members and encourage interested people to contact us at sustainablecommunitiessa@gmail.com.

The formalities of the meeting were followed by some mingling, music and entertainment!
