Kate’s ride to work

It was Ride to Work Day last week on 12 October. Kate, a member of Sustainable Communities SA, rode to work and joined colleagues and others a morning tea celebration. But her story is an interesting one. On last year’s Ride to Work Day she didn’t even own a bike! What happened between then and now is a great example of someone changing their behaviour, learning something new, reducing energy consumption and ecological footprint. Kate started a new job within cycling distance of home and that’s how it all began…
