The Sharing Economy

In recent times many exciting new sharing initiatives are popping up around the world. Sharing is nothing new, but in the modern world where it seems essential that everyone clutter their house with tools and gadgets they might only use once a year the resurgence of sharing is an important part of creating a sustainable lifestyle. Initiatives such as the Berlin Borrowing Shop Leila, where members can borrow anything from board games to wine glasses, fog machines to hiking rucksacks, juicers to unicycles and other tool libraries are just part of a wider scene of sharing.

The Shareable website gives a good source of ideas and do it yourself guides of what is happening in the sharing economy worldwide.
