Community Groups

Making changes that reduce our use of resources leading to sustainability are easier to make when we work with and learn from other people.

Sustainable Communities SA supports the formation of Community Groups in which members support each other to make changes in the areas of energy, food, transport, waste and water and in the way they live.

Moreover building resilient communities also helps us adapt to climate change. There are a number of active groups that have formed among neighbours and friends in various localities. Members get to know one another, discuss feasible options for changes and support each other in making those changes.
